Pringle Homes Choose Gainsborough Flooring

Preston based Pringle Homes has been designing, building and converting residential properties in Lancashire and the North West for nearly 40 years. The family owned business has an enviable reputation of building prestigious detached residences throughout the region, together with saving, restoring and converting historical buildings with care and compassion.

Vicky Keelan from Gainsborough Flooring had been friends with the owners of Pringle Homes for many years as they lived close to each other and their children went to school together. However, they only started to talk about a potential business collaboration when they met at Preston Grasshoppers’ beer, gin and music festival, Hopfest, 5 years ago.

Since then Gainsborough Flooring have worked with the Pringle Homes team on all their new homes, fitting out extensive areas including the lounge, stairs, landing and all the bedrooms.

Founder and Managing Director of Pringle Homes Mark Fleuriot, commented,  “Our intention has never been to be a volume builder, we’ve always wanted to remain a niche developer of premium quality homes. We’re committed to high quality in everything we do and our customers always come first. Our ethos dovetails perfectly with that of Gainsborough Flooring and we have found them to be the ideal flooring partner for all the homes we build. They are professional and efficient and they appreciate the challenges and tight timescales we often have to work when completing a house building project. We would never compromise on quality and we know we can rely on Gainsborough Flooring to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations.”

The Gainsborough Flooring team have primarily used Cormar’s Sensations carpet collection in the homes as they offer a broad choice of colours in a classic twist pile and are also stain resistant and bleach cleanable. The Cormar Collection comprise a soft, deep pile, heavyweight carpet, using two colours combined within the two-fold Luxelle yarn to create a subtle tonal effect, which is suitable for use throughout the home. The range is available in 4 and 5 metre width making them very flexible for the new homes.

Vicky Keelan from Gainsborough Flooring commented, “ We love working with the Pringle Homes team and supplying and fitting their flooring. The Cormar Sensations range has proved very popular with those moving into their new homes as they deliver the versatility that modern day living requires, providing luxury combined with practical benefits. On occasion, at the client’s request, we have also fitted Amtico or Karndean in the downstairs area.”

One recent project that has been completed was Pringle Homes’ Plot 12-Pennington Gardens in Bartle, astunning spacious cul-de-sac development of just thirteen prestigious 4 & 5 bedroom detached family homes, where Gainsborough Flooring fitted Cormar’s Sensations Feelings light Taupe in the show house.
