GP Surgeries Choose Polyflor To Meet Floor Hygiene Standards

We’ve completed 10 installations, all to comply with floor hygiene standards, throughout GP surgeries in Lancashire during this past month.

All have opted for flooring from Polyflor as it’s absolutely ideal for healthcare, education, retail and leisure environments where hygiene is of paramount importance.

Polyflor do a variety of vinyl flooring and one surgery in Preston opted for Polyflor Forest FX Eton Oak parquet which looks incredible and is super practical, providing the advantages of aesthetics combined with performance.

Polyflor’s wood collection is an eclectic mix of traditional warm oak planks and cooler grey timbers that can be matched with a wide variety of interior design schemes. The acoustic properties of the Polysafe Wood collection helps reduce the transfer of impact sound and walking noise through the building, helping to create a more peaceful environment for customer, patients and staff alike.

A medical centre in Blackpool selected Polysafe silver birch, a hardwearing, slip resistant and easy to maintain floorcovering which is perfect for coping with the high demand of the centre.

Polyflor’s vinyl flooring products meet the strictest hygiene standards and are proven not to harbour dirt and the 100% impervious surface has no joints for bacteria and viruses to congregate in and no fibres for germs to cling to.

They feature smooth resilient surfaces that are easier to clean than textile-based floor coverings. The PUR finish provides superior benefits, making cleaning quick and easy with minimal equipment. High-temperature cleaning can be carried out with vinyl products helping to kill viruses present on the product surface. The 100% waterproof nature of the product also lends itself to regular wet cleaning with fast drying times minimising disruption.
