Flooring Showcase

The team at Gainsborough Flooring love their extensive showroom with its varied and stunning displays of luxurious carpets, hard flooring and sumptuous rugs.

However, they equally love being out and about at events and exhibitions where they get the opportunity to meet local people and show off their impressive range of products.

Following their tremendous success at last year’s Royal Lancashire Show where they won an award for the best exhibition display, the Gainsborough Flooring team are looking forward to exhibiting at the popular event again this year with an even larger display area.

They will exhibit their stylish carpet village showcasing the White Cliffs of Dover which has been created utilising luxurious Brinton’s Carpet. The stand will also feature a staircase with the lavish Liberty carpet designed by Alternative Flooring, which The Queen walked on at the Chelsea Flower Show. A gorgeous handbag with the striking Liberty design will also be displayed on a glass podium.

Vicky Keelan, Managing Director of Gainsborough Flooring commented, “The Royal Lancashire Show certainly is a flagship event for the region and we believe it is ideal for us. Our display complements many others at the show and this year we will be working closely with the Anderton Centre, a charity run centre, who provide a range of water and land based outdoor learning activities at their spectacular site in Rivington, near Chorley.”

Vicky continued, “Our team believes a collaborative approach can lead to greater success at these events, enabling us to attract a more diverse range of visitors to our stand and engage with more people from the region. We will also be running a competition to win a fabulous rug worth £250!”

Another opportunity to meet the Gainsborough Flooring team this summer is at Hopfest, the beer, gin and music festival hosted at Preston Grasshoppers. They’re sponsoring the gin and prosecco marquee once again after it proved extremely popular last year with 30 different gins available! Vicky’s brother Eddy plays rugby at Preston Grasshoppers and the family has a close association with the club, which dates back many years.

Both events promise to be very popular and entertaining so get yourself along for some great days out and make sure you go and say hello to the team! Hopfest takes place from 5th-7th July at Preston Grasshoppers and The Royal Lancashire Show takes place at Salesbury Hall in Ribchester from 19th – 21st July.
