Alternative Flooring’s Selby Stripe Fitted In Local Home
We’ve recently completed an exceptional installation of Alternative Flooring’s Selby Stripe in a stunning local home.
We were asked by a customer we’ve worked with over the last couple of years to fit out their stairs, landing and bedroom.
The customer was keen to make use of the striking Alternative Flooring range and opted for Alternative Flooring’s Selby Stripe Surf Joss for their stairs and top landing.
With over 20 years of manufacturing under their belt, Alternative Flooring’s collections encompass everything that is great about British design and a quality product, and this stair carpet comes in a gorgeous colour palette of neutrals, taupes, beige and grey tones.
The Selby Stripe was complemented by Alternative Flooring’s Wool Romance which was fitted to other landings and bedrooms. Selby Stripe was selected to break up the carpet, continuing the beige colour from the wool romance whilst introducing different colour stripes at the same time.

The installation proved somewhat challenging as a large selection of furniture needed to be rearranged to fit the floors. We worked closely with the customer to choose which rooms to prioritise so we caused as little disruption as possible. There was also a new wooden hallway that had just been installed so we needed to be careful not to cause any damage to that.The final result looked outstanding and we had a very happy client at the end of it!
