Each Himalayan rug is hand-knotted, using traditional Tibetan rug-making techniques by weavers in Kathmandu, Nepal, using Chinese-silk and Tibetan wool. Alternatively, if you prefer a leather rug, you’ll be choosing a product stitched from real leather hide, with thick wool felt backing. Many of their products are handmade not mass produced, these floor coverings are woven on traditional wooden looms that require no electricity or are knotted by hand. They weave mainly from pure wool and natural fibres, which are left undyed where possible.
